On Friday evening, Hamburger SV will travel to the nearby Millerntor Stadium with a series of six unbeaten games, including five wins and a draw, and will play the 108th Hamburg city derby there as part of the 12th Zweitliga matchday. The duel with FC St. Pauli is known to be particularly explosive, which is why the podium in the press conference room of the Volksparkstadion was closely watched this Thursday afternoon. Here, HSV head coach Tim Walter answered the questions of the media representatives and radiated two things in particular before the city derby: Anticipation and self-confidence.

... the personnel situation: "We can almost draw on a full complement. Except for Tim Leibold, who unfortunately suffered a torn muscle fibre, and the long-term injured Omar Megeed and Ogechika Heil, all players are fit. All of them were able to train. 

... the mood before the derby: It's clear that everyone is looking forward to this game and it's good that there's a lot of action in the city. Everyone will be representing their colours. We want an away win at home in Hamburg. I expect a hot, heated duel - both in the stands and on the pitch. And that's nice, because rivalry is part of sport.  

... the preparation for the game: It's well known that city duels have their own laws. Nevertheless, the fact is that we are first and we want to go there and perform accordingly. We know what to expect and we want to face it. We are full of self-confidence. We want to act with a flaming heart and a cool head. We will throw everything into it and at the same time we want to be patient.
