HSV to decide change of legal form and new supervisory board members

Two general assemblies in one morning set the course for HSV's future - Michael Papenfuß: "It was a very good atmosphere"

It was supposed to be a mere formality. However, the Annual General Meeting of HSV Fußball AG played a significant role in finalising the change of the company's legal form. The result: HSV Fußball AG transforms into HSV Fußball AG & Co. KGaA. The next step will now be to officially file the change in the commercial register. In other words, HSV Fußball Management AG (with Management Board members Eric Huwer and Stefan Kuntz) and HSV Fußball AG & Co. KGaA (with all employees of the former Fußball AG) will control and manage the operational fortunes of the Rothosen.

"It was a very good atmosphere," said Michael Papenfuß, praising the shared morning at the Volksparkstadion, which was moderated by the Chairman of the Supervisory Board. The Annual General Meeting of HSV Fußball AG, at which Huwer and Kuntz presented their annual report, took just under three hours. All members of the Management Board and Supervisory Board were unanimously authorised, and the change of legal form was initiated.

At the following Annual General Meeting of HSV Fußball Management AG, the actions of all members of the Management Board and representatives of the supervisory body were also authorised. In addition, the new composition of the Supervisory Board was elected at the respective Annual General Meeting. The members of the Supervisory Board of HSV Fußball Management AG are Michael Papenfuß (Chairman), Markus Frömming (Deputy Chairman), Henrik Köncke, Hans-Walter Peters, Lena Schrum, Stephan von Bülow and new member Eric Bussert. ‘With Eric Bussert, we have filled the vacant seventh seat on the board with a man who has great expertise in management and is also passionately connected with HSV. It's a match," says Papenfuß. The Supervisory Board of HSV Fußball AG & Co. KGaA consists of Michael Papenfuß, Thomas Böhme, Markus Frömming and Ralph Hartmann.
