Hamburger SV and Robin Meißner have agreed on a contract termination. The 23-year-old attacker has joined third-tier team Dynamo Dresden.
HSV and Robin Meißner have agreed to terminate his contract, which was due to expire on 30th June 2024. The 23-year-old attacker has signed for third-tier side Dynamo Dresden with immediate effect. Meißner joined the club’s U21s from FC St. Pauli’s academy in 2020 and scored seven goals in 15 Regionalliga Nord games before moving up to the first team.
Meißner played 14 times in the second division across 2020/21 and 2021/22. He then had loan spells at Hansa Rostock and Viktoria Köln and will now depart the club permanently. “Robin informed us that he would like to leave the club. This move could be the perfect step for him and his career,” said director of professional football Claus Costa. “This is why we agreed to this transfer. We would like to wish Robin all the best for the future and good luck.”
