Travelling on Matchday

The HSV Service Centre is open on matchdays from 10:00am until kick-off and can be reached by phone on 040/4155-1887 or by email at info@hsv.de.

Tickets for HSV home matches at the Volksparkstadion also serve as free tickets on the entire Hamburg transport network (HVV) for your journey to and from the stadium on matchday. The roads around the Volksparkstadion are particularly full on matchday and there are limited parking spaces. The convenience and reliability of the public transport network, as well as the fact that you travel for free, means we recommend travelling to the stadium on matchday by public transport. The HSV match ticket is valid for one trip to and from the ground on the whole HVV network, zones A,B,C,D and E. Travelling by car

From	Motorway	Exit
North/south	A7 A23	HH-Volkspark, follow signs for Volksparkstadion Exit the AK HH-Nordwest onto the A7 southbound, then HH-Volkspark, then follow signs for the Volksparkstadion.
East	A24	Follow the motorway until the roundabout, then follow signs for the Volksparkstadion.
West	A1	Take the A261 at the Buchholzer junction, then at the HH-Südwest junction take the A7 northbound to the HH-Volkspark, then follow signs for the Volksparkstadion.
Central Hamburg	-	Follow signs for "Arena"

Shuttle buses run direct to the stadium from the S-Bahn stops Stellingen and Othmarschen.

The shuttle service begins from Stellingen around two and a half hours before kick-off and from Othmarschen around three hours before kick-off. The stadium is also just a 15-minute walk from the S-Bahn stops Stellingen and Eidelstedt.

The main bus route to the ground is the number 22, which travels from U-Bahn station Kellinghusenstraße to S-Bahn station Blankenese. The closest bus stop to the stadium on the 22 route is Schnackenburgallee, which is around a 10-minute walk to the ground. As the Schnackenburgalle stop is closer to the ground, it naturally takes longer than usual to get there on matchday due to traffic, therefore another option is to get off a stop earlier at the Stellingen S-Bahn station, which is around a 15-minute walk to the ground.
