The new number 7: Bilbija talks about his goals

After his second team training at HSV, newcomer Filip Bilbija spoke about his qualities and what they can contribute to achieving the goals.

Not only did Filip Bilbija change clubs in the summer, he also changed his shirt number: The 22-year-old offensive player wore the 35 at FC Ingolstadt 04 until last, at HSV he will henceforth start with the usual 7 for a winger. In his first media round, which was held today between the morning and afternoon sessions, the Berlin-born player did not talk about his jersey, but mainly about his personal and team goals with the Red Shorts. In addition, Bilbija, who is currently looking for a flat in Hamburg, explained which qualities he can and wants to bring to Volkspark in order to master the ambitious challenges.

... his goals at HSV: "The team is great, you can develop well within this group. Here at HSV, of course, everything is a bit bigger than in Ingolstadt, and the goals are much more ambitious. I want to play an important role, help the team and get that bit of luck on our side. 

... his qualities:  I bring a lot of passion and always want to win. I'm also a goal scorer, but I also try to push my teammates. Kobe Bryant (late basketball legend, editor's note) said that there are no mistakes, you only learn from the past. I want to take this as an example, because the last season in Ingolstadt was not easy.
