School Visit with Dino Hermann on the USA Tour
HSV players and Dino Hermann inspired pupils during a visit of a German speakings school in San Diego.
"HSV goes to school" was on the schedule for the second day of the HSV trip "HSV Route 87". Bakery Jatta, Moritz Heyer, Elijah Krahn and Tom Mikel made an early Monday morning (14th Novemeber) trip with HSV mascot Dino Hermann to San Diego, to the Albert-Einstein school to visit and give some footballing tips. In the German-American educatioanl institution, they were integrated into the lessons with several classes. The first graders, who had painted extra large welcome posters, were first read a Dino-story in their German lesson. The kids listened intently to the adventures of the HSV mascot, who sat up close to them in full size and triggered just as much enthusiasm with every accompanying gesture.

Afterwards, the odler grades cpmtomies with a special football training session on the sports field. The HSV players accompanied the sessions with important tips and visibly enjoyed being a coach themselves. Afterwards, the pupils got numerous autographs from the guests from Germany, which left a lasting impression on all participants. Whether on shoes or T-shirts, they signed everything they could find space on. Last but not least, there was a special dance performance by Dino Hermann, which brought this successful excursion to the school to a fitting conclusion.
