Purchase option taken: Maximilian Rohr moves permanently to SC Paderbon 07

A temporary departure has become a permanent one: SC Paderborn 07 has activated the purchase option for Maximilian Rohr, who was previously on loan from HSV. This means that the 27-year-old will be moving permanently to the Ostwestfahlen's, for whom he had been on loan since August 2022, with effect from 1 July 2023. 

"We wish Maxi all the best in Paderborn and are convinced that a permanent transfer is the best solution for all sides," said HSV board member Jonas Boldt on the now fixed departure of the defensive all-rounder. Rohr joined HSV from Carl Zeiss Jena in September 2020, earned a place in the professional squad under head coach Tim Walter and played a total of 18 competitive matches (two assists) for the Rothosen. At SCP, the right-footer played in 25 competitive matches (three goals, two assists) - and will now also play for the blue and black team in the future.
