Pre-season friendlies confirmed

HSV will once again hold their pre-season training camp in Kitzbühl, Austria, where the team will stay from 6th to 15th July. During this time, the Rothosen will also play two pre-season friendlies. 

Hamburger SV will face FC Viktoria Pilsen on 7th July (18:00 CEST) in Westendorf. The Czech side took part in the Champions League last season, facing the likes of FC Bayern München, FC Barcelona and Inter Milan in the group stages. Training camp will end with a friendly against Red Bull Salzburg on 15th July (11:00 CEST) in Anif. The club ended last season by winning their tenth Austrian Bundesliga title and also took part in the Champions League. Head coach Tim Walter’s side can look forward to two tough matches as part of their preparations for the 2023/24 season. On Friday (30th June), the DFL is expected to announce the fixture list for the upcoming season.
