Marko Johansson sent out on loan to Hansa Rostock

A new challenge lies ahead of Marko Johansson. The goalkeeper will join 2. Bundesliga side Hansa Rostock on loan until the end of the 2023/24 campaign. Since signing for HSV in the summer of 2021, the Swede has made seven appearances in competitive fixtures for the club so far. The loan spell at Hansa Rostock will be his third in a row, after spending the 2022/23 season with Bundesliga contenders VfL Bochum and the first half of the current campaign with Swedish first-division side Halmstads Bollklubb. Now, the 25-year-old will compete in the 2. Bundesliga and take the place of goalkeeper Nils Körber, who recently left Hansa Rostock.
