Lukas Hinterseer leaves HSV for Ulsan Hyundai FC
The 29-year-old departs Hamburger SV and joins the South Korean side.
Lukas Hinterseer has left Hamburger SV in search of a new challenge, continuing his career in the K League for Ulsan Hyundai FC. The 29-year-old striker joined the Rothosen in the summer of 2019 on a free transfer after his contract had run out at VfL Bochum. In his first season in Hamburg, the Austrian scored ten goals in 31 competitive appearances, delivering three assists along the way as well. This season the 13-time Austrian international added five more appearances to his belt. After spells in his native country and Germany, the fox in the box now continues his adventure in South Korea.
“We would like to wish Lukas and his family all the best for the future and most of all a successful time with a new, exciting challenge for himself,” were sporting director Michael Mutzel’s words on the transfer. “Naturally we would like to thank Lukas for his time, his commitment and his professional attitude throughout his time at the club.”
