HSV move to Herzogenaurach for quarantine training camp
The HSV squad will travel to Franconia on Monday, staying at the Herzogspark hotel whilst they prepare for the upcoming away game against Greuther Fürth.
In order to have an optimal preparation for the upcoming away game against SpVgg Greuther Fürth (Sunday 17th May, kick-off 1:30pm CET) as well as fulfilling the hygiene regulations from the DFL, HSV will complete a quarantine training camp in Herzogenaurach from Monday onwards. The HerzogsPark hotel provides the optimal surroundings so that the Rothosen can bring themselves to match sharpness whilst also adhering to the strict hygiene standards set by the DFL and federal government. The HSV first team as well as the coaching and backroom staff will travel to Herzogenaurach, home to HSV’s kit supplier Adidas, with a charter plane. On matchday, the team will travel to the Sportpark Ronhof via multiple buses, before making their way back to Hamburg on another charter flight after the final whistle. The whole travel arrangements were designed to comply with the strict hygiene standards set out by the DFL.
