HSV face TUS Erndtebrück in DFB-Pokal first round

On Friday evening, the first round of the DFB-Pokal for the 2018/19 season was drawn as HSV were pitted against TuS 1895 Erndtebrück who finished 17th last season in the Western Regional League and will play in the Oberliga Westfalen next season. “We’re looking forward to the trip to TuS Erndtebrück and know we’ll be favourites,” explained the HSV director, Bernd Hoffmann. “We don’t know much about Erndtebrück but I can promise we’ll do our homework before the game. We’ll play with professionalism and full of concentration and give our opponents due respect.” It will be HSV head coach Christian Titz’s job to fully prepare the side and he commented on the draw: “I’ve not come across TuS Erndtebrück in my career to date. However, I’m looking forward to the game.” The games will take place between August 17th and 20th.
