HSV extend deal with Christian Titz

Done deal: The HSV first team will be trained by Christian Titz next season. This Wednesday 16th May, the 47-year-old signed a new two year contract with the club. “Christian Titz has shown in past few weeks and months that he’s the right man for the job,” said Frank Wettstein: “We spoke to one another about the head coach issue and we were all absolutely convinced on the board that Christian Titz is the man to realign the club.”

Titz is delighted with the trust he has been given. After signing the contract, the head coach said: “I feel at home in Hamburg and at HSV and have always said I could see myself here longer than the season that has just passed. We all know that big challenges await us in the Bundesliga 2. We now need to give that our full focus.”
