HSV extend Altintas contract and loan him to Malatyaspor

HSV announced the extension of the contract of Batuhan Altintas in Wednesday (23.08). The new deal will expire on June 30th 2019. The striker has joined Turkish side Malatyaspor for a year with immediate effect.

On Wednesday (23.08) the club announced that they have extended the contract of young striker Batuhan Altintas, tying him to the club until June 30th 2019. The 21 year old forward will not however return to Hamburg. He has been loaned out to Turkish top flight outfit Evkur Yeni Malatyaspor with immediate effect: “We want to support his development in the best possible way. Because we can not guarantee him playing time at our club the loan decision is the best for both parties”, explained Rothosen sport boss Jens Todt.

Altintas spent last season on loan at another Turkish club Kasimpasa, scoring nine goals in 23 appearances for them. The 1,87m tall goal-getter joined the Rothosen from Turkish outfit Bursaspor at the start of the 2015/16. He made his Bundesliga debut in the final game of that season after being brought on after 66 minutes away to FC Augsburg.
