DFB Cup quarter finals: HSV Host Gladbach

HSV will host Borussia Mönchengladbach in the quarter final stage of the DFB Cup. The draw was wade on German TV on Wednesday evening (08.02). The balls were drawn from the hat by singer. It is the second consecutive home game for coach Markus Gisdol and his team. The Rothosen beat Cologne 2-0 in Hamburg on Tuesday evening: “We are very satisfied with the draw, Gladbach are a tough side but we look for ward to another great cup night at home with a full house in front of our fans,” said Rothosen sport boss Jens Todt after the draw was made.

Borussia Mönchengladbach beat nothern German minnows Drochtersen/Assel 1-0 in round one. They then beat fellow Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart 2-0 in the following round. They then beat second division side Greuther Fürth by the same margin in round three.

The quarter final matches take place on either February 28 or March 1. Exact details and ticket details will be announced soon.
