Meffert suffers broken nose
The midfielder has returned to Hamburg in order to receive further treatment.
Jonas Meffert suffered a broken nose during training in Spain on Tuesday (1st April). The injury occurred while contesting an aerial duel against Emir Sahiti, and the midfielder received immediate treatment on the pitch. Following the diagnosis, the decision was made to allow Meffert to return to Hamburg ahead of schedule on Tuesday evening in order to receive additional treatment at the UKE. The rest of the team will take part in a final training session in Spain on Wednesday, before returning home later in the day.
