Loan Watch - Amaechi Shines on First Start
Our English winger has been lauded for his performance at the weekend for Bolton Wanderers where he made his first start for the Lancashire club.
Not only did Xavier start his first game for Bolton, our on-loan winger scored an important goal in the 2-2 draw vs Cheltenham Town in the English League One.
Early in the season Xavier suffered a long term injury that had unfortunately kept him on the sidelines until recently. Despite this, he has forced his way into the starting XI following some bright sparks off the bench. Glimpses of his attributes were shown against Crew Alexandra, Wycombe Wanderers, Doncaster, as well as an appearance in Bolton’s FA Cup defeat to Stockport County, earned him his call to the staring line up.
Elsewhere, Aaron Opoku’s last appearance for Vfl Osnabrück came in the form of a narrow 1-0 defeat to SC Freiburg II in the 3.Liga. Aaron has managed 8 assist’s so far for the Niedersachsen club and has been ever present since he joined on loan.
Ogechika Heil is currently on the sidelines for Go Ahead Eagles in the Dutch Eredivisie. After featuring in their opening 11 fixtures, he is currently on the mend after suffering an injury to the Thigh.
