HSV Signs Miro Muheim on a Permanent Basis
The loan becomes a permanent contract. Miro Muheim signs a contract with Hamburger SV that runs until the Summer of 2025.
Hamburger SV sign Miro Muheim on a permanent basis. The 23-year-old left-back, who was loaned out before the season from Swiss first division club FC St. Gallen for the duration of the current season, will receive a contract until 30 June 2025. "Miro has continuously developed over the course of the season so far and has strengthened our team with his sporting and human qualities," praised sporting director Michael Mutzel and added: "With his permanent signing, we have planning security at an early stage at the left-back position, but beyond that, Miro can also take on a more offensive role. We are looking forward to the future together and want to further promote his very positive development."
Muheim, who has featured in 19 competitive games (one assist) so far this season and has established himself on the left after Tim Leibold's injury, is also looking forward to the continued cooperation: "I am very happy that the loan deal was profitable for both sides and will now lead to a permanent cooperation," said the 18-time Swiss U- international, who trained at FC Zurich and Chelsea FC. The dynamic left-footer with pronounced strengths in standard situations feels perfectly at home in Hamburg and at HSV: "The offensive and courageous style of play suits me perfectly and in the future I would like to improve even more in this and in the defensive area. The basis for this is perfect here in our young team, and I want to achieve my personal and our common goals with the boys.
