HSV signs Filip Bilbija
The 22-year-old attacking player moves to Hamburg on a free transfer from relegated 2.Liga FC Ingolstadt and signs a contract until 2026.
The second HSV addition for the new season is Filip Bilbija and is no stranger to HSV fans, as the attacking player, who is particularly at home on the left wing, moves to Hamburg on a free transfer from previous league rivals FC Ingolstadt. The 22-year-old did not play in the two games against the Rothosen, but otherwise played in 28 games in the recently concluded second division season and scored seven goals.
"Filip Bilbija is a young and very versatile attacking player, who has developed noticeably and well, especially in the season just ended. We want to push this further," says HSV board member Jonas Boldt, "because we see great potential in Filip and trust him to take further steps in his development, which is why he is an excellent fit for HSV and our path."

The Berlin native successfully completed his medical check at UKE Athleticum on Friday (3 June) and then signed his contract at Volksparkstadion, which is dated until 2026. "I definitely want to develop further, become better and contribute my share to this great club playing successful and attractive football," said Bilbija, looking forward to his new challenge at HSV. Welcome to Hamburg!
