HSV seven days a week – our away shirt for 2024/25

The new away shirt for the 2024/25 season is designed in the style of a classic fisherman’s shirt, allowing the HSV fans to show their hanseatic roots throughout the whole of Germany.

The kit, designed together with adidas and 11teamsports, is dark blue with white horizontal stripes and a red and blue crew neck. The design reflects the traditional Finkenwerder fisherman’s shirt, including the typical red kerchief, that is mainly worn by seamen’s choirs nowadays. The introduction of the fisherman’s shirt in Hamburg-Finkenwerder gave the fishermen a standard uniform. This tradition will now be passed on to the HSV players on the pitch with their new away kit.

HSV seven days a week: A sailor spends a lot of time on their travels, but they always have a special place for their home port in their hearts, which is just how a HSV fan thinks about their favourite club during day-to-day life. Unfortunately, football stadiums generally aren’t reachable by water, which is why thousands of HSV fans travel by bus, train or car to support their team away from home every second weekend.

The HSV fans don’t just think about the club on matchdays, but also at school or at work – whether they’re on their travels or at home – everyone will be thinking of HSV seven days a week in the new away shirt!

The launch of the new away kit features a video in which players and fans of the club sing the ‘Sieben Tage die Woche (Seven days a week)’ chant along with the Hamburg seamen’s choir.
