HSV loan out Gui Ramos to CD Santa Clara
The 27-year-old centre-back will spend the rest of the 2024/25 season in his native Portugal.
Hamburger SV have agreed a loan move for Guilherme Ramos, with the defender making the switch to Portuguese top-flight side CD Santa Clara for the remainder of the 2024/25 campaign. “Gui came to us requesting a move away during this transfer window,” explained director of first-team football Claus Costa. “He has fully identified with HSV since his first day here, is a true team player and has an impeccable character. It’s part of the reason why we endeavoured to find a good solution that works for both parties. We hope that he will be able to get regular football back in his home country and wish him all the best for his time at CD Santa Clara.”
Ramos joined HSV from Arminia Bielefeld ahead of the 2023/24 season. The 1.91-metre-tall centre-back has since made 26 competitive appearances for the Rothosen. Born in the Portuguese capital Lisbon, Ramos now returns to his home country to play for a side that are newly promoted to the Primeira Liga and currently sit in fourth place.
