HSV extend Ogechika Heil until 2024
The 20-year-old wide man previously had a contract until 30th June 2021. That deal has now been extended for three more years.
HSV have made progress with their plans for the future, extending the contract of another homegrown player. After previous extensions for Aaron Opoku (currently on loan at SSV Jahn Regensburg), Josha Vagnoman, Jonas David and Stephan Ambrosius in recent months, Ogechika Heil has now signed a new deal as well. The 20-year-old wide man previously had a contract until 30th June 2021. That deal has now been extended for three more years and will keep him in Hamburg until summer 2024.
Sporting director Michael Mutzel was delighted with the news having been pleased with the progress of the youngster from Kassel. Ogi is the latest homegrown player to get his foot in the door with the first team. “Versatility, speed, creativity and desire - Ogi shows all of these attributes and so we are really happy that he wants to take the next steps in his development here with us.” Ogechika Heil himself is not satisfied with what he has achieved so far: “I’m really that I have the chance to keep developing with HSV and continue on my path. I want to constantly improve and repay the faith shown in me by the club with hard work.”
