HSV applies for postponement of match against Erzgebirge Aue

There is unpleasant clarity: the suspected cases of corona at HSV have been confirmed after the latest tests on players and staff members. A large part of the squad and staff has been infected with the Corona virus. The club immediately informed the responsible health authorities and the German Football League (DFL). As HSV has a large number of unavailable players according to the match regulations, the club requested a postponement of the second division home match against FC Erzgebirge Aue scheduled for Saturday. "Unfortunately, we would not be fit to play in the current situation and have cancelled the training sessions scheduled for today," said HSV board member Jonas Boldt.

Ticket and VIP customers who have already purchased tickets for Saturday's match will be informed in writing by HSV if the match is postponed. Purchased tickets would retain their validity.
