Horst Hrubesch takes over as head coach

HSV have changed head coach. Head of sport Jonas Boldt and sporting director Michael Mutzel relieved Daniel Thioune of his duties with immediate effect. Horst Hrubesch, who is head of the HSV academy, will take charge of the team for the rest of the season. 

The team was informed of the decision on Monday morning. Hrubesch will take his first session with the team on Monday afternoon.
