Five HSV players on international duty
Dennis Hadzikadunic, Emir Sahiti and Immanuel Pherai, along with youth internationals Adam Karabec and Bilal Yalcinkaya, can all look forward to exciting fixtures during the upcoming international break.
A total of five HSV players will be away during the first international break of the 2024/25 season. Dennis Hadzikadunic (pictured, Bosnia & Herzegovina), Emir Sahiti (Kosovo), Immanuel Pherai (Suriname), Adam Karabec (Czechia U21) and Bilal Yalcinkaya (Germany U19) have all received call-ups.
Hazdikadunic (26) and new signing Sahiti (25) will be in action on the opening two matchdays of the Nations League. Bosnia & Herzegovina, coached by former HSV player Sergej Barbarez, will face the Netherlands (Saturday, 7th September, 20:45 CEST) and Hungary (Tuesday, 10th September, 20:45 CEST). Sahiti and Kosovo will be up against Romania (Friday, 6th September, 20:45 CEST) and Cyprus (Monday, 9th September, 18:00 CEST).
Pherai (23) will be undertaking the long trip to South America, where Suriname have two CONCACAF Nations League fixtures against Guyana (Thursday, 5th September, 22:00 CEST) and Guadeloupe (Monday, 9th September, 22:00 CEST).
Adam Karabec (21) has been included in Czechia’s U21 squad for their U21 EURO qualifiers against Lithuania (Friday, 6th September, 14:30 CEST) and Denmark (Tuesday, 10th September, 18:00 CEST). Yalcinkaya (18) and the Germany U19s can look forward to friendlies against Italy (Saturday, 7th September, 15:00 CEST) and England (Tuesday, 10th September, 16:30 CEST).
