Die Steiermark becomes training camp partner and supplier of HSV

Tomorrow, Saturday (25 June), the professionals of Hamburger SV leave for the summer training camp in Styria. The region in Austria will act as training camp partner and will also support HSV as a supplier in the 2022/23 season. 

Styria, the green heart of Austria, offers ideal opportunities to prepare for the coming season. Between glaciers and breathtaking natural landscapes, there are also ideal conditions for training. HSV fans can therefore look forward to insights into the intensive units on the pitch as well as from Styria during the team's stay. 

"The foundations for a successful season are laid in the summer training camp, which makes it all the more important to have optimal conditions on and off the pitch as well as a perfect environment to grow even closer together as a team and get in the mood for the season and our common goals. Now we are delighted when the Hamburg Sports Club begins its journey to this year's destinations in Styria," says Tourism Provincial Councillor Barbara Eibinger-Miedl, who is delighted about the new partnership with HSV and emphasises: "We also hope to gain prominent 'ambassadors' through HSV who will spread the word about the advantages of our country. Especially among our German neighbours, our holiday destination is becoming increasingly popular, as we score points with our culinary delights as well as sports and recreational opportunities in an outstanding landscape."

This year's summer training camp in Styria will take place from 25 June to 2 July. Various training sessions and two test matches against Hajduk Split (29 June) and Aris Thessaloniki (1 July) are on the agenda for the Red Shorts. 

In addition to its commitment as a training camp partner, Styria will become a supplier of Hamburger SV in the 2022/23 season. This partnership will be clearly visible on LED video boards in the Volksparkstadion, digital activations and other stadium promotions.
