DFB Sports court suspends Mario Vuskovic for two years. Player and HSV go to appeal
HSV Board Member Jonas Boldt: "We will now calmly deal with the reasons for the verdict".
The DFB Sports Court sent HSV the verdict on the case against Mario Vuskovic on Thursday afternoon (30 March). Content: Mario Vuskovic will receive a two-year ban for a violation of the applicable anti-doping guidelines. The preliminary ban will be taken into account, so that his ban will run retroactively from 15 November 2022 and will end on 14 November 2024.
HSV board member Jonas Boldt: "We have taken note of the decision of the DFB Sports Court and, after an exchange with Mario's lawyers, we immediately agreed to appeal the decision. We will now calmly deal with the reasons for the verdict."
The verdict of the DFB Sports Court can be appealed to the DFB Federal Court within one week.
