HSV and Mergim Mavraj agree contract termination

On Tuesday afternoon (July 17th), Hamburger SV, together with Mergim Mavraj, agreed to terminate the defender’s contract, which would have run until June 30th 2019. Mavraj therefore leaves the club with immediate effect.

The Albanian transferred to HSV from 1. FC Köln in the second half of the 2016/17 season and contested 34 competitive games for the Rothosen. “We thank Mergim and wish him all the best for his sporting future,” said HSV sporting director Ralf Becker.
