Ogechika Heil transfers to Münster
Hamburger SV and attacker Ogechika Heil have mutually agreed for the 22-year-old to immediately transfer to third-division side SC Preußen Münster.
Ogechika “Ogi” Heil has left HSV after seven years at the club and transferred to SC Preußen Münster in the third division. The midfielder moved to the Rothosen academy from the youth side of Hessen Kassel in 2016 when he was just 15 years old, earning his way through the ranks from the U17s up to the first team. He made six appearances in the 2. Bundesliga before being sent out on loan in the summer of 2021 to Go Ahead Eagles for a season, where he played in 28 matches in the Dutch Eredivisie, including four appearances in the starting eleven.
After his return to HSV, however, the winger only made one appearance in the Pokal and one in the league last season, so Heil and the club have now agreed to the transfer. “We wish Ogi nothing but success for his future and this new challenge, and look forward to when we can next see him again”, said director of first team football Claus Costa.
