Toni Leistner banned for two games
After the red card against Greuther Fürth the defender will be missing for both home games during the coming week.
The DFB’s sporting tribunal has banned Toni Leistner for two games after his straight red card during the 1-0 away win against Greuther Fürth on Saturday. The defender was given his marching orders by referee Martin Petersen in the 53rd minute, after fouling Fürth attacker Havard Nielsen, who was clean through on goal. HSV and the player have agreed to the decision, which is thus legally binding. Leistner will miss the home games against Erzgebirge Aue on Wednesday (21st October, kick-off 6:30pm) and Saturday (24th October, kick-off 1:00pm) against Würzburger Kickers.
