Tom Mickel remains at HSV

HSV announced today that they have extended the contract of goalkeeper tom Mickel. He has agreed terms on a deal which lasts until June 30th 2019. The 28 year old stopper was afirst team regular in the Rothosen reserves making 17 appearances last season. Mickel made the first team squad on 16 occasions last term and made his second first team appearance in the matchday 31- 0-4 drubbing at Augsburg, after regular stoppers Rene Adler and Christian Mathenia missed out through injury: “Tom is an exemplary team player with a great mentality which is highly regarded among our coaching staff. We are delighted that he has decided to extend his contract with us”, enthused club sport boss Jens Todt.
