HSV trio called up to German under-21s
DFB manager Stefan Kuntz picked three HSV talents for the upcoming German under-21 games during the international break.
Stephan Ambrosius (21), Manuel Wintzheimer (21) and Josha Vagnoman (19) continue their upward trajectory with their nominations for the upcoming internationals for the German under-21 side, confirming their accomplished starts to the season and the talent development at HSV. Stefan Kuntz’s charges face Slovenia in a friendly on the 12th November before continuing their qualification for the under-21 Euros against Wales on the 17th November, both games taking place at the Eintracht-Stadion in Braunschweig.
It is particularly an opportunity for Ambrosius to show his qualities at this level, having tested positive for coronavirus during his last trip with the under-21s and having not represented Germany for any of its youth teams. Wintzheimer will be hoping to make his first appearance for the oldest German youth side after 12 games for the under-20s, whilst Josha Vagnoman will be looking to add to his tally of three games under Kuntz, missing last time out due to injury.
