In all Santos managed 17 first team and reserve appearances for them which secured him a permanent deal. From there though, Santos was soon to be homeward bound as he joined Brazilian first division club Atletico Mineiro again on loan. There he made 53 league appearances in Brazil’s top league and also played 16 times in the famous Copa Libertadores. Douglas Santos will wear the number six in Hamburg.
