Marko Johansson leaves HSV

Goalkeeper Marko Johansson, whose contract was valid until summer 2025 at HSV, has departed the club. The 25-year-old Swede, who joined the Rothosen ahead of the 2021/22 season and spent time on loan at VfL Bochum, Halmstadts BK and F.C. Hansa Rostock in recent years, has moved to fellow Bundesliga 2 club Eintracht Braunschweig.  Johansson could then return to Hamburg on matchday 12 when the two teams meet in the league.
