Laboratory confirms Corona infection in Bakery Jatta

Bakery Jatta tested positive for the Corona virus. The 23-year-old took the PCR test the day before departure for the winter training camp in Spain (1 January) and immediately went into domestic isolation after the result became known. On Sunday evening (2 January), the responsible laboratory confirmed the positive test result. Since the Gambian was recently given a few days of special leave, he was not in personal contact with his team colleagues. Jatta, who is currently symptom-free, will now serve his quarantine period in Hamburg - in close consultation with the health authorities - and accordingly miss the six-day training camp (2 to 8 January) in Sotogrande. All other PCR tests were negative.
