HSV drawn against SC Freiburg

The second-round draw took place at the German Football Museum in Dortmund on Sunday evening (1st September). The draw was conducted by Sonja Greinacher, who recently won gold in 3v3 basketball at the Paris Olympics.

The last meeting between the two clubs also came in the DFB-Pokal, as they faced off in the semi-finals back on 19th April 2022. SC won 3-1 and advanced to the final. The two will now meet again in the second round, with the match set to be played on either 29th or 30th October 2024. The exact timings are set to be announced in due course.
