HSV celebrate anniversary with 1-0 home win

A red card for Zimmermann saw HSV with a numerical advantage in the final few minutes, and apart from a half chance for Ginczek, die Rothosen didn’t allow their guests much more than that as the game came to a close. A huge anniversary and home-win celebration would then follow, with the roughly 57,000 who were present at the Volksparkstadion cordially invited.
