Bakery Jatta suffers syndesmotic ligament tear

In a blow for Bakery Jatta and Hamburger SV, the attacker suffered a syndesmotic ligament tear in his left ankle during yesterday’s training session. This was confirmed following tests, including an MRI Scan, at the UKE Athleticum yesterday afternoon (22nd January).

The Gambian, who has made 217 competitive appearances for the Rothosen (29 goals, 27 assists) and featured in more second-division matches (180) for the club than any other player, will now be out for an extended period of time. HSV would like to wish Baka a speedy recovery!
