Solidarity season ticket as a fundraiser for refugees from Ukraine

HSV is offering symbolic Solidarity season tickets as a fundraising campaign for refugees from Ukraine. The sale of season tickets to the pledgers has already begun, the free sale will start on 7 April.

The images from Ukraine shock us anew every day. Many people are asking themselves how they can help - together with its fans and personalised Solidarity season tickets, HSV would like to make a supportive contribution to the refugees from Ukraine here in Hamburg.

Due to Corona-related restrictions, no season tickets could be offered for the current 2021/22 season. However, it is still possible to purchase a symbolic Solidarity season ticket - and thus make an important contribution to aid at the same time.

The Solidairty season ticket will be personalised, marked with your personal seat and sent by post from HSV in the usual season ticket format. The symbolic amount can be freely chosen between 5 euros as well as 18.87 euros or 3x 18.87 (=56.61) euros - and this sum then goes directly to the HSV foundation "Der Hamburger Weg", which uses this solidarity contribution to help Ukrainian refugees in Hamburg. Among other things, a refugee shelter is currently being prepared in the Brown car park of the Volksparkstadion, where refugees from Ukraine will soon find a place to stay.

Since Tuesday (29 March), all season ticket holders have had the opportunity to purchase their tickets. So far, they have booked around 1,500 Soli season tickets and have thus already raised more than 30,000 euros. All season ticket holders have until 6 April to book a Soli season ticket for their regular seat before the remaining seats go on sale on 7 April.

Helping together, doing good together. For peace. And for the people who need support now.

The free sale will be activated on 7 April at 10 a.m. and announced via hsv.de.

HSV hopes to be able to send out as many Soli season tickets as possible and would like to thank all fans who are taking part in this special relief action.

In addition to the Solidarity season tickets, HSV has also implemented other supportive contributions for the refugees from Ukraine:

Donations in kind for Ukraine refugees

Together with various HSV institutions, the Supporters Club is collecting donations in kind for refugees from Ukraine from now until 17 April. The donations in kind will go to the Lutherkirche clothing store and the Rotary Ukraine-Hilfe and will be distributed to refugees from Ukraine. The required products and the collection points can be found here.

Shirt auction raises 7,551.87 euros

The Supporters Club has auctioned off eleven of the peace shirts worn by HSV professionals during the warm-up before the match against 1. FC Nürnberg at the beginning of March this year. A total of 7,551.87 euros was raised. The entire proceeds will be donated to refugees from Ukraine. Click here for the detailed report

Participation in the football school is made possible

The HSV-Foundation "Der Hamburger Weg" is currently planning with the HSV-Football School to enable refugee children from Ukraine to participate free of charge in the training offers of the football school. More information will follow shortly on hsv.de.

Invitation to a joint meal

After the cancellation of the second division match between Hamburger SV and FC Erzgebirge Aue, the spontaneous idea arose overnight to invite refugees from Ukraine as well as their companions and helpers to lunch at the fan restaurant "Raute". The food, which had already been delivered for the home match audience and for legal reasons may only be served in the Volksparkstadion, was to be used sensibly and sustainably. Together with supporting fans of HSV and FC Erzgebirge Aue as well as Dino Hermann, around 400 people took up the offer in stages - and demonstrated with a smile on their faces what a big impact a small gesture can have.
