Anyone who is interested can take a look behind the scenes with HSV fans’ representative Fanny Boyn, who focuses on inclusion, learn more about certified fan merchandise from Head of Merchandising Sascha Steinbrück and immerse themselves in HSV’s wide range of sustainability work with other experts.

Another central topic is the determination of the club’s carbon footprint, which was analysed for both HSV Fußball AG and Hamburger SV e.V. for the first time in the 2021/22 and the 2022/23 seasons.

“The fact that we’re transparent about our sustainability measures and our progress as far as our sustainability goals are concerned fits with the club’s image,” said Marieke Patyna, HSV’s Chief Strategy, People and Sustainability Officer. “That’s why we don’t think of sustainability as being something static. It’s always a process of sustainable development. The challenges of modern life have created a pressure to act. We can lead by example and make a real difference along with our fans and our partners.”
