DFL schedules match days 9 to 15
The German Football League (DFL) has set the exact dates for the second league match days nine to 15. The Red Shorts will have to face Düsseldorf and Kiel as well as Karlsruhe three times in the top match of the second division on Saturdays.
The German Football League (DFL) announced the exact schedules for the second league match days nine to 15 today (Thursday, 2 September). According to the announcement, HSV will host FC Erzgebirge Aue on Friday evening, 1 October at 6.30 pm as part of the 9th matchday of the 2. Bundesliga, marking the start of a series of floodlit games. The Red Shorts will then play three what are known as the 'top games' of a weekend in the 2.Bundesliga against Düsseldorf (16 October) and Kiel (30 October) as well as in Karlsruhe (6 November) on Saturday evening at 8.30 p.m. and are also called upon again on a Friday evening at 6.30 p.m. at SC Paderborn (22 October). The 14th and 15th second division matchdays then take place for HSV on Saturday and Sunday lunchtime at 1.30 p.m. respectively with home games against Regensburg (20 November) and Ingolstadt (28 November).
